qian-kun-deactivated20120227 asked: Thank you so much for writing such a great reply! I'm unemployed at the moment so I'm not active in that sense, but I do weight classes once a week, yoga three times a week and walk for half an hour every day. I don't have any allergies and I love all food, so no particular dietary preferences! I'm 5'8" and currently weigh 162lb :)

OUIEEEEEE you are most welcome. you sound overall balanced and healthy :) Your body will love you for your transition to vegan. With all the additives, hormones, and chemicals in our meat and dairy these days … vegan is truly (in my opinion) the best way to go. RAW FOODISM is also a great diet option (especially for taller builds) because of the way the body’s metabolism works - it’s not a vegan option though. But you can take aspects of it (especially juicing and salads) into your daily intake.

Just wanted to make sure … its the super active training athletes/runners/swimmers/gymnasts/dancers that need to be especially careful with calorie intake.
